====== Getting Started ======

Welcome to Mazes and Monsters. This page covers the basic steps needed to install the client and point it at the current game server.

===== Download The Client =====

Download the current Windows installer:

After the download finishes, run the installer and launch Mazes and Monsters from the installed shortcut.

===== Set The Server Connection =====

Before connecting, open **Options** in the client and verify the connection settings.

Save the settings, return to the login screen, and connect.

===== Create Your Account =====

Account creation is handled inside the Mazes and Monsters client. From the login screen, choose **Create Account**, enter a username, password, and email address, then select **Register**. Passwords must be at least eight characters long.

After registration succeeds, return to the login screen and sign in with the account you created.

===== Enter The Game =====

After signing in, create a character or select one from your character list, then choose **Enter Game**.
